Caroline Louise Art selected for Powerhaus Pad at RDS

Interior designer Claire Leila has chosen paintings from The Dream Factory, Rafael and Zen Abstract Collections for this year's 'Lad's Pad', sponsored by Powerhaus, at the hugely successful annual Toys 4 Big Boys show at the RDS. The two bedrooms and kitchen will feature artwork from these collections where Claire's outstanding modern design will provide the perfect backdrop for these unique pieces of contemporary art.

The first phase of Caroline Louise's long awaited new contemporary art collection is now available to view and purchase online.

'The 'Gold Rush' collection has allowed me to indulge in my passion for 'all that glitters', which in this case, is most certainly gold. In addition to combining many shades of gold, and many paint textures, with other colour blends, the outstanding feature of this collection is my use of gold leaf metallic paint which results in each painting changing dramatically, depending on where it is hung and the light it is exposed to. The paintings can attract and deflect light and colour at the same time giving them a show-stopping quality  while also offering a unique adaptability to any setting. Due to the light sensitive nature of the gold leaf, it is highly recommended that you see these paintings in the flesh, where at all possible, to fully appreciate their appeal.'  Caroline Louise - January '08
